Reiki & Sound Healing

Reiki comes from the Japanese language and translates to Universal Life Force Energy

'Rei' meaning Universal

'Ki' meaning Life Force Energy that flows through all living things.

Some practitioners describe reiki as acupuncture without the needles. The person giving Reiki uses themselves as a vessel for the Universal Energy to pass through them and into the client's being. The Reiki practitioner places their hands over the main energy centres of the receiver and the energy flows to any imbalances in the body. Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness.

Reiki is great to support healing the physical, emotional, and spiritual parts of a person, including the chakras, and has a range of benefits. The flow of energy around the body can enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness.

Mikao Usui developed Usui Reiki Ryoho, the most current form of Reiki, in 1922. However, people have practiced Reiki for around 2,500 years.

Your healing experience will be located on a private and secluded part of the The Dandenong Ranges, surrounded by peace and tranquillity. The session starts off with a cleansing of the space and an introduction into Reiki. During your session, sound healing frequencies are used to help you to relax and connect to deeper parts of yourself. Singing bowls are played around the body, targeting and harmonising all the energy centres.
